Today saw the first day of Sign Digital UK 2013 and what a day it was. I thoroughly enjoyed my first day with Roland DG and gained some valued knowledge from some respected members of the digital print community and also got a chance to meet many of the suppliers I deal with on a daily basis.
Roland DG Stand
What can I say about the Roland DG stand? One word springs to mind "WOW" The stand was out of this world very futuristic with a colour wheel theme being followed throughout the stand fixings, the stand easily out did the competition and could be seen pretty much from any location through the floor plan of the show. Well-done Roland!
Roland Staff Briefing
Apologies can't tell you what was said here, its top secret stuff but do take a look at the picture of everyone being so attentive.
Roland Soljet XR-640
If you haven't already seen it here is a quick snap of the XR-640, what a good-looking machine, other manufacturers do take note on how a good looking machine should look. If your looking for a solid print cut solution than this is the one for you.
Roland Soljet XF-640 - AKA "The Beast"
Some like to call it the XF-640 and some prefer to call it the beast. With its whopping 100sqM of print an hour you will be hard pushed to find any other machine on the market that can offer this kind of speed and quality.
Even at billboard quality the beast delivers stunning results. I believe Sarah and the team at Sign master systems officially sold the first machine in the UK today.
