Regarded by many as the biggest show of the year Sign & Digital 2013 opens its doors in a matter of hours. The show itself sees manufacturers and supplier alike showcasing some of the industries leading technologies and developments.
I have the pleasure of attending the show this year for all three days as a guest on the Roland DG stand. I've been looking forward to attending this show as this year marks the year Roland have released the new Soljet Pro XR-640 and the surprise release of the Soljet Pro XF-640 known to many as the beast.....If I was Mimaki, HP or any of the other manufacturers displaying this year I would be very scared....The speed at which this machine prints is simply mind boggling. I can't wait to get my paws on this, might even try and roll it out the back doors and down the M1 back to London town.
This years show also marks six years since we purchased our very first Roland printer the Soljet XC 540 pro from what I would call one of the UK's best Roland resellers - Signmaster Systems Phil and the team down at Signmaster systems are one of the most honest bunch of people I have ever had the pleasure of working with and I would openly recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a Roland machine. If it wasn't for the advice and support of Phil Group101 would not have become the business it is today. “Thanks Phil”
My new Roland DG Polo Shirts
I was so excited to finally get hold of my official exhibitors badge and my cool new Roland polo shirts.... Check out these bad boys can't wait to rock these over the next few days. Thanks to Lisa Metcalfe for my lovely shirts and my goody bag, which has my favourite sweets “Skittles” oh, and my not so favourite toy a yoyo, still can’t figure out how these damn yoyo toys work.
Do come and say Hello
If you attending the show on any of the three days this year do feel free to come along and say Hello, it would be great to meet some of the many faces I have regular contact with over forums and emails but haven’t actually ever met.
Over and out for now see you guys at the show!
